This best-in-class engine produces a standard 256 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The engine is equipped with stop-start technology that meets the super-ultra-low emissions 30 standard. Secondly, the other offering is a PHEV Q4 AWD with a six-speed automatic transmission. This combines a 15.5kWh lithium ion battery with a 90kW electric motor and 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This engine delivers a best-in-class 272 horsepower with an range of over 30 miles. Fortunately, the US market will have both powertrains available for purchase. The Alfa Romeo Tonale will elevate the standard of what it means to drive a luxury subcompact sports SUV...plus it will be "electrifiying". The new 2020 Alfa Romeo Tonale beautifully integrates traditional Italian design with the power and elegance expected of a modern vehicle, exemplifying Alfa Romeo's 'La meccanica delle emozioni.' Unlike the larger Giulia sedan, the MY2020 Alfa Romeo Tonale (pronounced | Toi nĀ leɪ |, NOT "toe nail") has made a shift with its redesigned cockpit for more hands-on control. The Tonale is expected to use the same front and all-wheel drive as Fiat 500X and Jeep Renegade. The Tonale will also have a 10.3-inch touchscreen display, improved graphics, and state-of-the-art connectivity, along with the following: 3-inch digital gauge cluster with a new design layout. New infotainment features, " Paddock " and " Alfista." A handful of connectivity features includes Wi-Fi Hotspot, Mobile App with remote control, SOS and Private calling, Roadside Assistance with a vehicle, and stolen car finder. What makes the 2020 Alfa Romeo Tonale most interesting is that it will use an AWD system that uses an electric motor to deliver power to rear wheels accelerating, decelerating, and taking corners with stunning ease and speed. As with any luxury car, the Tonale will come with various configurations from which you can choose. Technical specifications are shrouded in mystery at the moment, but it is expected to feature a hybrid powertrain derived from Compass PHEVs and Jeep Renegade. However, if you are eager to have an idea of how powerful it should be here noted that Afla Romeo's Giulia Quadrifoglio, which boasts a Ferrari-derived, 505-horsepower V-6 twin-turbocharged engine, achieves 0 - 60 mph in an incredible 3.8 seconds and a maximum speed of 191 mph, this car is the most powerful Alfa Romeo ever in mass production. We have to wait and see how close the Tonale will fall in terms of power. Alfa Romeo is expected to start producing the Tonale in the middle of this year, and they will go on sale in Europe towards the latter half of the year.
